Meet Jacy
Jacy Adams, MSW, LCSW, ACM, RPT
Hi there! My name is Jacy. As a licensed clinical social worker and registered play therapist, I have found my passion in working with children and families. My therapeutic approach utilizes a strengths-based perspective and honors each child’s unique gifts and needs.
My expertise is working with children (ages 3 and up) and providing parenting training and support. I have over nine years of experience working with children with an array of mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, grief/loss, chronic/terminal illness, as well as highly sensitive children. I believe in providing a safe and nurturing environment for children to express themselves and work through their emotions by using play therapy and other modalities.
As a Registered Play Therapist (RPT) through the Association of Play Therapy (APT), I have extensive training and education in play therapy and providing evidenced-based care to children and adolescents.
I work collaboratively with parents as an active participant in therapy to provide education, support, and tools to best help the child and family as a whole. Together, we can help your child reach their full potential and lead a happy, healthy life.
In my spare time, I enjoy traveling, hiking, and spending time with my husband and daughter.
You don’t have to walk this journey alone. We are here to support you and your child with tools to cope with life’s stressors. We strive to empower parents and children alike.
