Meet Jacy
Jacy Adams, MSW, LCSW, ACM, RPT
Hi there! My name is Jacy. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Registered Play Therapist (RPT), I have found my passion in working with children and families, and in perinatal mental health.
My expertise is working with children ages 3 and up and providing parenting training and support. I have over nine years of experience working with children with an array of mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, grief/loss, and chronic/terminal illness, as well as highly sensitive children. I believe in providing a safe and nurturing environment for children to express themselves and work through their emotions by using play therapy and other modalities.
As a Registered Play Therapist (RPT) through the Association of Play Therapy (APT), I have extensive training and education in play therapy and providing evidence-based care to children and adolescents. I work collaboratively with parents as an active participant in therapy to provide education, support, and tools to best help the child and family as a whole.
In addition to my work with children, I support those dreaming of motherhood, new mothers navigating the early stages of parenting, and those facing the emotional challenges of infertility, loss, and NICU experiences. I bring a unique perspective to my practice, having personally navigated the journey of motherhood through IVF, allowing me to deeply empathize with both new mothers and those dealing with infertility challenges. I offer a safe and nurturing environment where you can explore your emotions, find healing, and build resilience during these significant life transitions
In my spare time, I enjoy traveling, hiking, and spending time with my husband and daughter.
“You don’t have to walk this journey alone. I are here to support you and your child with tools to cope with life’s stressors. We strive to empower parents and children alike.”
